Dexter is both indoor and outdoor trained. best of both worlds! he will ask to go outside if we are both downstairs, but goes on a pee pad upstairs or if we aren't home. i like having him pee pad trained because then I don't have to worry about him going before we leave to go out and don't have to worry about rushing home to let him out.
