So happy to hear that her surgery went well. Gilmore had the surgery Thanksgiving and was on crate rest for 12 weeks. It does feel like forever at the beginning but it goes by faster than you think. He is finally free now and is doing very well.

I also put his crate on a bin so he felt like he was more involved and closer to us. I found that for me the pen did not work because he would constantly stand up on his hind legs which was defeating the whole purpose of resting him. You will find that you will get into a routine and you just have to remember that you are doing what is in their best interest and not being mean.

I feel like it was just yesterday and I was posting just like you that Gilmore was having surgery and I was a wreck. Here we are months later and he is back to being the crazy active loving puppy he was before. Only now he can run with no pain.
