Thank you all so much for you kind words and encouragement. We did go ahead with the surgery and yesterday evening got an update that both knees with LP were repaired and there was not any torn ligaments! We called first thing this AM for our update and she has gone to the bathroom and has no fever and we can pick her up at lunch today! They said everything went well. The little pups and I may move into the guest room so Sadie and Dad can have the bedroom to themselves. The plan at night is to put a bench by the bed to put the crate on so she feels like she is sleeping next to Dad but is still safe. My husband got laid off from his job a couple of weeks ago so he will be able to be home with her for most of the healing.
