Patti, my husband has PAD in his legs and he's just like your husband. He can only walk for a short time and then has to stop and get the feeling back in his legs. We both still smoke and have tried quitting three different times. They say it sometimes takes several times to quit and you have to want to quit. We try to make it as inconvenient as possible to smoke and we do NOT smoke in our home. I'm hoping once the weather breaks we can try again. The last time we tried to quit was during a really cold winter and when you are couped up in the house and can't get outside and work in the yard or take a walk, it makes it difficult. I truly wish our insurance would cover smoking cessation aids such as Chantix.

But I'm not giving up hope. CONGRATULATIONS to all the YT members that have quit. I hope to be part of that elite group one of these days soon.
