Depends on the day- sometimes I am in a rush and the goal is to get in and out as quick as possible- I am not one of those people that ooo's and aaah's over every dog, LOL. Honestly, I hate petting a lot of dogs in public because they usually leave my hand smelling awful! However, if I get to talking with someone and they have a cute dog, I might pet them. I don't care if people pet my dogs, as long as they ask first. I LOVE when kids ask to pet mine because I don't have any kids and don't know any kids so my dogs don't have any experience with them.
