In fact, when we walked up there was a group of kids around them and one was holding her. I told my husband I would be scared to death to let kids hold mine. I know I'm an idiot and overprotective mom to the point of redictulous but that would really bother me. I can't believe she let them hold her. I would have been scared to death they might drop her. |
I was the same way with all the yorkies I've had and never let kids hold them they have to sit on the floor and then its the no fast movements drill.
My binky was bigger at 10lbs but my social butterfly out of all the yorkies I've had..she wanted to make friends with everyone.
My Savannah is only 3.6lbs and it scares me to death she's so tiny and its taking adjustment to get used to another smaller yorkie.
Your not an idiot being over protective if they are dropped and break a leg its painful for them and us. My mom rescued one people couldn't afford his leg surgery.....kids dropped him
My grandson is 2 he met my newest rescue last week and since he's used to me having binky...he just knew the rules right off and she sooo wanted to be his best bud.
so they sat on the couch together watching kids tv stuff while he rubbed her belly.
I thought my sally was small and she was 4lbs
