Any critters were ruled out by the fecal exam. I had doubts about the cottage cheese, too, and Dr. agreed that I should stop it and go to rice with chicken - that has worked well for her before. He had me stop the Immodium and put her on diphenoxylate. If she hasn't settled down in a day or two, he will do blood work and maybe an x-ray. But for now he still thinks it's a food issue.
T had a really good night - no diarrhea at all. We'll see what the next couple of days have in store. I will ask Dr. about oatmeal next time we talk. |
