I think we all have had those days. Last Fri, I had planned a field trip (upon the teacher's request) for the children. It seemed to be a day where things went wrong one after another. It rained, the buses were late, we had to change our eating location due to the rain, etc. All of that didn't bother me one bit, as the families were still having a good time hanging out. We finally got to our destination, only to find out we had to tweak our plans yet again. We had to have the children eat 1 hr early. Apparently that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I got yelled at for all of the above in front of my teachers, the parents and the children.

Talk about professionalism on behalf of the person who let me have it.
I got a phone call today from one of the parents. She actually requested that the person who yelled at me to be fired. That part made my day, even if I can't actually fire her.
