Thank goodness it helped. It is done by an anesthesiologist and they use an x ray or some type of imaging so they can see exactly where they are placing the injection. I don't know if this would help you but you could ask your doctor. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon. |
I agree with everything Sammy Mommy has said...I currently have a heniated disc in my lower back, had the leg pain, numbness which is caused from the pressure of the disc on the nerves. I agree that you should look into the pain management doctor and get the epidural shots. I have had 2 of them and they have helped with the pain, not saying that it has cured my problem only time will tell that but it good to not be in pain and walk with a limp. With you having 2 herniated disc i can only imagine the pain that you are in, it has got to be terrible. You may have to look into sugery to relieve your pain. In 2009 i had a ruptured disc, same disc as the herniated one only on the other side, in a matter of 2 weeks i went from weighing a little over 100# down to 82#, i was in such pain, i has immediate relief after the surgery, i still don't weigh 100# but i fell much better for now. I highly recommend the shots or having the surgery, it's the only way you will get relief from the pain. I love my neurologist and my pain management doctor, keep searching for one you feel comfortable with. Good luck..i feel your pain and sorry for your accident.
