We, too, thought the Amazon enclosure would be perfect for young Dori. We covered our hardwood floors with a river rock photo shower curtain and furnished the space with all the essentials. After a mere 2 weeks use, I returned from the gym, opened the back door and was greeted by my 14 week old, 4 lb girl. Needless to say, we immediately purchased a VERTICAL slat gate for the laundry room and moved Dori's essentials.
The abandoned enclosure did make a good playpen when we were outside.
BTW, I love the animal print (Dori has the Puppia zebra harness).
