Thanks so much for the ideas everyone. I will look into the belly bands and we are also comparing prices to get our little guy neutered.
As for the crate/pen conversation that has developed:
When we first got Denny, two different vets told us to avoid buying potty pads because they said it confuses the dogs. (Example- We are teaching him it is NOT okay to potty in the house, but then confusing by encouraging him to actually GO in the house on a pad.) Because of that, we have avoided buying potty pads when he is in the pen.
