We tried the pen and it was too much space. There were multiple accidents everywhere. We were going to revisit the idea of a pen or a room when we KNEW for sure that we could leave him alone and there wouldn't be any accidents. Obviously, we are not to that point yet, hence the thread that I started here so I could get some advice (without judgement!).
I have researched crate training and also read a lot about it on here....it sounds like many other people have our same routine. He gets a lot of walks and play time when we are home, and he will have the whole summer "off" as I am a teacher. |
