Don't know if this will help you but I will put it out there anyway. I have a black lab who was deathly afraid of storms and would pant and freak out horribly. I got one of those cd's with nature sounds that had thunder storms on it and would play it when there was no storm around. He got used to it after awhile and learned to just think of it as another noise that was no big deal. Maybe that will help? I know the iPhone has those apps that have thunderstorm sounds, and alarm clocks also have them. Good luck!!
