On 2/27/11 @ 1:20PM EST, I had to make the most devastating decision in my life. I had to put Brooklynn Kouture to sleep. I know the community is wondering how it happened because i am still wondering. On friday Brooklynn urinated blood on the wee wee pad and we took her to the vet. They ran test and told us it was ANEMIA. I was sent to the specialist in NYC for further testing. It WAS IDIOPATHIC ANEMIA AND THEY HAD NO CLUE WHY OR HOW. Brooklynn fought as hard as she could and she even gave me the best 24 hours of my life yesterday.
I WANT TO THANK THE YORKIE COMMUNITY FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR US WHEN I HAD TONS OF NEW MOMMY SCARES. AT THIS TIME I DONT EVEN THINK ANOTHER DOG IS AN OPTION BECAUSE ITS TOO PAINFUL! PLEASE REMEMBER BROOKLYNN AS THE HIGH ENERGY HIGH FASHION YORKIE SHE WAS! 6 MONTHS WAS NOT A LONG TIME FOR US BUT HER LOVE WILL LAST A LIFETIME!
