Peanut butter is not only Lipid dense, but also nutritional dense. It contains PUFAs Omega 3s and Omega 6s, manganese and magnesium, copper, phosphorous, potassium, zinc, iron; the vitamins niacin, thiamine, B6, E, ........just to name but a small portion of what it holds. It is a great nutritional source for treating. However, being careful to remember that it is a lipid/protein source, even though it is a PUFA. I treat mine with it in small doses but fairly regularly. Also, I only buy organic Pb, as it is peanuts and a small amount of salt. Sodium, sugars, and additions of extra lipids are something to keep your eye on.
