It is hard to completely predict size but in general you are supposed to triple the 8 week weight or double the 12 week weight to get an idea of adult size. Barney will probably be between 7 -8 pounds full grown. Yorkies coats start to change around 10 -12 weeks, you usually see some lighter roots growing on the head first but will take months up to a year for the body to change completely. Yorkies coat color can change there whole life. When I give my 15 year old a trim sometimes her coat comes back darker is some areas, its weird!! Good Luck with your boy!! |
