At first I thought it might be the beginning of artheritis, but I would think he would cry out in pain and would not run and jump so much?
I have noticed that the limp seems to be somehow connected to his right front paw. He licks and chews at this paw quite a bit and sometimes holds it up while he is walking.
Any ideas as to what this might be? I have looked at his paw and cannot see anything.
Everytime I decide to take him to the vet he gets better adn the limp goes away. I have had other dog lovers over to visit and they seem to think I am overreacting (which is very possible) because he runs and jumps so much.
Please offer you opinions.
Even though the symptoms may come and go with limping, he could have something stuck in his pads or something or something is bothering him if he is licking at it and holding it up while walking. It sounds like it bothers him so I think I'd take him to a vet if he were mine.
