First- I would have a urinalysis done- he could have a UTI.
Otherwise, he is probably marking- neutering may reduce the behavior, it may not. Neutering before a dog starts marking is best, once they have learned the behavior, it doesn't always stop. But getting him neutered ASAP is your best bet.
