To Melissa3674 . . . .I don't know much about low blood sugar level but if your puppy is eating regularly based on the consumption he is prescribed by the breeder, then you need not worry.

I used to give my Tiger soft food and then gradually mixing it with hard. That covers about 2 weeks before he is completely eating hard food. I use Innova puppy food as it is organic and all natural, with only vit C as the preservative . . . being that they are so tiny, they don't eat much so it is good to invest in a very nutritious meal. My Tiger was 2 lbs when I brought him home at 7 weeks . . . 4 weeks later, he is now almost #3.
