I really like our current vet and he has a reputation for being an excellent diagnostician, but the office/practice he belongs to recommends annual DHPP.

He is a good listener and will answer questions and work with me.

DHP as puppy, then about one year later, then the schedule varies by vet. Some never do it again. Most do it every one to three years. Depends on your and their preferred protocol. Every year is way too much.
Non-core vaccines are usually given at least once a year and that is only if they are needed at all. |
Are there any differences between a 1-year DHPP and a 3-year? My boys had the DHPP at the 1 year exams and the office expects them to have it again this year. I have not decided yet if I want to go with the 3 year or never again protocol.
