great posts!! my oliver was $900 from a local upstate small family breeder, loves her pups, not doing it all for the $$. he is registered with continental kennel club, not akc, not even sure what ckc is. was naive thought i wanted a tiny yorkie, he is 17 months, almost full grown & 6.7 lbs of love. now that i see how fragile he is i hope he even grows more so that he is as healthy as he can be. my yorkie mix is 15 lbs can't remember exactly her price got her from spca & she was pricey $500-600 ?? both best money i ever spent. i find it's not the money you spend to get them it's the money you spend for their health, treats, toys, etc.. that is so costly. hard for me to resist buying toys, clothes, treats(healthy ones, which are crazy expensive). but it makes me feel better that there are many people like me, my 16 yr old daughter thinks i've lost it when it comes to my babies.
have a great day everyone. we just another foot of snow, !!!!!
