Milo was almost 7 months when he was neutered. He was a bit groggy for the afternoon/evening after surgery but by the next day was pretty much back to normal. He hated the cone so we kept him in a baby onesie at night to protect his stitches and just watched him during the day to make sure he did not lick or fuss with the incision area. Milo had the surgery on a Friday and we were home with him all weekend. He was pretty much okay by Monday but my husband's schedule allowed him to be home during the day with Milo. I am sure that your little guy will be fine. How much does he weigh? Milo was about 5 pounds at time of surgery, I think. |
