Wow, thank you so much for your responses! This is so encouraging.

I've decided to take this idea and run with it. Right now, I am supposed to be working on a senior project (I'm an English major, graduating in May), and I'm going to scrap my previous idea and instead create a prototype for this new magazine's first issue.

Honestly, I don't know much about the business and financial aspects of publishing a magazine, but I will start with the prototype and see where it goes from there.

Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and wonderful replies; they've really encouraged me and convinced me that I can branch out and really do something I'm passionate about... It seems like maybe the "What am I going to do with my life?" question that has been hovering like a dark cloud over my head for the past year has finally been answered!

If you have any more suggestions for features you'd like to see in a Yorkie lovers' publication, please let me know! I really hope this can, in a few months, turn into a real business venture!!
