This is our routine. Mr. Big wakes up around 5:30am. I take him to our bathroom where there is his food and a puppy pad. He usually goes pee and poop on the pad right after he wakes up. Then we play and takes a nap. I get ready for work while Mr. Big is in the bathroom eating and drinking. When I leave, I move his crate to the bathroom. Now he has crate, toys, and puppy pad in the bathroom. While I am gone, he pees and poops only on pad. When I get home, I take him into the apartment to play. There is another puppy pad in the living room. Sometimes I catch him start to pee on the carpet. If I do, I quickly pick him up and firmly say no and move him to the pad. Usually he does not finish on the pad. I catch him doing this several times. Then I put him back in the bathroom to eat and drink. After he poops and pees on the pad, I let him come back to the living room. Before bed, we play a lot. Then he goes back to the BR to pee. He sleeps in his crate in my bedroom from 11:30- 5:30.

Puppy is 10 weeks old. Please tell me what I am going wrong and what changes I should make!! Should I be taking him outside to pee/poop? Is he too young? Any advise will be appreciated! This is my first puppy to raise.
