If you have another source in between, use the method Lil Fu Fu Girl posted, using the author's last name and the relevant page number. In other words, you never need to repeat a full citation once you have footnoted a source.

What a brilliant idea! I would have loved to have had something like that when I was in school. Oh well, I was thankful to have the benefit of word processing.
