Out of all my Yorkies that I have had, only 3 three of them I had as a puppy. They were so laid back, learned very fast. I wouldn't say they were loners, they just didn't have that Hyper Puppy behavior. They were very confident in who they were. Yes, they liked to follow me around, but if I wasn't in their sight, it wasn't a problem.
