There was a thread on here about a year ago so doubt I'll find it for you but it was something about their eyes, sounds weird but its true. You can't really tell what coat they have until the puppy coat has grown out.
Alfie went to the groomers oneday with lovely black and tan and then it was all cut off and he's been grey and tan since, bless him. i really ought to put a more up todate pic up of him. The one in my avatar was when he was a puppy. He's 18 months old now.
