My vet ruled out an ulcer and infection, too. Thank heavens we agreed that Lady needed to see her ophthalmologist. Regular vets don't have the training and equipment to diagnose and treat more than just the basic eye problems.

In Lady's case, her ophthalmologist scraped the white spot and cultured it to determine that it was an infection.

When it comes to eyes, it's always best to consult an ophthalmologist IMO.
