You are after my heart! We loved the basset we had for a few years. Her favorite game was to play like she was too weak to stand up so Daddy would feel sorry for her. He would come and pet her telling her what a poor poor puppy she was. He'd stand her up and she would collapse. This would go on for several minutes until dh indicated game over then she would race out of the room as cheerful as can be!
And our little shih tzu is the heart of our family. What a sweetheart she is. She is our groomers favorite dog.
