My husband has a hard time adopting a dog for the price over $100. Anything like $1000 is absurd to him. And $3500? He thinks that person needs to have their crack pipe taken away. That part I totally agree with him on. If I was permitted to, I would pay up to $600 on a puppy with registration and good health guarantee. Adopting Matthias took some coaxing on my husband on my part. It wasn't that hard as I reminded him about the thousands of dollars he spends on his forge and his cars. But still, I don't begrudge him that since he works so hard for this family when I am unable to. I think one or two hundred extra for the importation fees and paperwork is acceptable. Otherwise, the price range I believe should be the same for any other Yorkie. |
