Yep I had NO prior experience though... got Jackson as an 18 year old new dog owner and just started having fun with him!

Sit Pretty actually took Jackson a little while. He also had terrible balance. I'd say it was like 2 months before he was 'properly' sitting pretty, LOL. He used to have his arms up in the air too.

I'm sooo glad to hear you are doing clicker training with her! It's such a fun thing and it's awesome when you see their heads spinning, trying to figure out what to do next to get that click. Post a video sometime!

It's never too late! I actually didn't use the actual clicker until Jackson was probably a year old. I used to just say the word 'yes' paired with a treat, which is essentially the same thing, but I found the clicker was a more clear 'marker' and he began learning a lot faster. Good luck!! Keep me posted on your progress!
