I keep the alcohol in my room as well as the cookies so I put a lock on my bedroom door
(I have a 17 year old and a 11 year old in the house) When I go to leave I lock the bedroom door even if i know that the kids will not be home before i get back and I have to go back and check the door.

If I get to bed and I don't know that the front door was locked I have to get up and go downstairs and lock it or I cant sleep

I wake up in the night and call for Gatsby if he does not come up and lick my face I have to turn the light on and get out of bed and look around the room for him. (even though he could not get out of the room)
