I only have one pad in my house, in the kitchen they dont smell for us either, like a liter box smells really bad I guess(I wouldnt know I dont have a cat) but these dont, when they become full you can throw it out & change it, I get "lots" of 1000 for around 20-40 dollars on ebay. Becuase they are much more expensive at petstores, just makes sure you have enough so you never run out.
