I use a soft bristtle (cat) brush. It's smaller than a dog brush and works well as a starter brush so not to intimadate them. I also use a cat pin brush that works very good for removing tangles as well does the Four Paws (matt removing comb). There are two kinds one with cutting blades and one without, be sure to get the one without.
