I had Rocco home at 8 weeks. The first night he was in his area which is the kitchen with his crate with door open but kitchen entranceway gated. He cried and cried. Someone on YT suggested I put the crate in my bedroom next to me. Well that worked like a charm. He would give a wimper twice durning the night and I knew it was time to potty so I would take him to potty in the kitchen on his pad and then he would go back to sleep in the crate. I did get up two or three times every night to do this and he did get up very early in the morning but it was pretty much a schedule. Now at 8 months Rocco sleeps in the bed with me and has his stairs to get him on and off the bed during the night to potty if need be!! And he also gets up about 15 minutes after I do in the morning!! Likes to have the bed to himself
