Yikes, the apartment I lived in while I was in the states had a fine as well, and people were pretty good about cleaning up after their pets. Except the people with the little dogs...That one always got me, here I am bending over to pick up a lab mix pile (and it was a pile that weighed about as much as Rizzo) 2x a day, and I see a woman walking her chi leave behind everything. My lab got the runs one day, and boy was that fun to pick up after.
There was one family that would keep their little min-pin on their patio all day long (and this was in Tucson), when I noticed they didn't have any water out there I went strait to the managers office. They fined the person for leaving the pet out on the balcony, but I don't know if they got reported for the animal cruelty. I thought they were crazy for leaving their little pup on the first floor balcony. If I had a mind to I could have stolen their dog and they wouldn't have even noticed...until of course they bothered to give the poor thing water. |
