Forgive my urgent response in bold as I was scared for your dog, didn't know how to get around website and didn't know your whole story. How stupid can one get?!? I can see now that you have busted your bum getting little Basil care but I was responding at the time to those early posts. It is such a big site. Can one not respond until they have read all the posts? Is that wrong on this site? I will admit I haven't read all of the rules but I know now not to do that again. Am one for getting doggie's help no matter what the cost and that only was my motivation for posting like that. From what I'd read of your posts at the time I posted that I could not tell if you were maybe one of those dog owners who considers the vet sort of last. Forgive my newness - probably no defense to you. I am truly, truly sorry for making you angry and upsetting you in the midst of all of this horror. Lord knows you have been through enough with little Basil. Won't bother you further and wish you and little Basil all of the best, Sherri.
Welcome to YT!

It's not wrong at all to post before you've read an entire thread. But most of us have learned the same way you have that it's smartest to read through it all before saying anything. I've had to pull my foot out of my mouth more than once because of that.

Sherri, I'll be keeping you and Basil in my thoughts and prayers. Especially during your appointment tomorrow.

Bonny
