Big Congratulations on your new Yorkie and best of wishes to you all as you begin your adventure together. There is so much good information on this site that it will be hard to not learn a lot pretty quickly as these folks are dog smart and have taught me so much in a week. Post pictures as early and often as you can so we can all follow along as your baby grows and develops. I had a Yorkie with that knee condition that lived to be 12 1/2 years but wasn't severe enough for surgery. Get a second opinion before you commit to surgery and all the best to your family.
