I am going through the exact same thing with my 2 1/2 yr old. I actually came to the forums to see if I could find an answer and came across your post. Hoping someone reads it and replies with some answers. My yorkie, Bevo, has always been puppy pad trained. He never goes outside. But, here recently, he pees on my trash can, corners of my counters, etc!! And same with you, always when noone is looking! We treat him every time we see him go potty on his pee pee pad, which is sometimes 10 times in an hour if hes really looking for treats. He knows where to go! When he sees me find a spot where he peed on the floor...he looks immediately guilty and runs to his bed. He knows its wrong....I dont get it either!! Maybe someone out there has some answers!!!!
