My pup eats the same thing, Blue Buffalo
Recently I've had to use canned food since he got 16 baby teeth pulled along with his neuter but after a few days I wanted to go back to basic kibble (which he wouldn't touch now that he was graced with yummy canned food!) so I just put a little bit of water in the dry. It worked just fine
But he had already been on regular dry food from day 1 so I dunno if it will work with yours. Best of luck!!
