Our yorkie, loves to be outside, sniffing the backyard, playing, etc. But since we heard this, we've been quarantining him inside. It's so sad because he keeps scratching at the backdoor to be let out.
Do you have any suggestions for us on how to keep hawks away from our backyard and our dog? |
Hey Neighbor, I see you are in Temecula, My brother lives right there by the mall Winchester/ hot springs. Yes be very very cautious of hawks, owls. I see hawks up in the sky all the time in Temecula. If I were you I would always be outside when your little one is back there. Never NEVER leave him alone. You can't really keep them away, but its your job to make sure your baby is safe from not being lunch/dinner!
I live in Riverside, and I tell you I will look above and their will be No hawks, couple mins of Pnut playing in the grass and running around all of a sudden I hear " sccccrech" ( lol or whatever sound they make) I look above and usually 2 are above us circling, Then the min I hear that Pnut is hooked on his leash and we are gone!
