In the way distance past, I use to buy tons of books in order to train and understand dogs, but the lessons I really learned is how different one dog is from another and not all training methods work for each. Now I just stick to the basics of sit and stay which seems to work just fine for most all dogs.............that is until the UPS truck comes within ear shot.
