I am moving there from Louisiana in less than a week! I have lived here my whole life and I am TERRIFIED of y'alls winter!

So the question I really need answered is: How bad is it REALLY?

I really don't fancy becoming an Eskimo, and it was around 70-something here the past few days... I wore shorts and a tank to paint my bathroom yesterday... In and out all day, and it was GORGEOUS!

Am I going to go into serious shock? ARE MY BABIES GOING TO HATE ME???

Also, of slightly lesser importance, we are moving to one of three cities: Honesdale, Union Dale, or Carbondale (you have an awful lot of "-dales" up there, lol.) In anyone's humble opinion, which is the more desirable location? Any information is greatly appreciated... Because, come Monday, we are really going to need a place to live!!!
