She is very young at only 8 weeks old to have left her mother. Yorkie puppies should stay with their mom litter mates until they are at least 12 weeks old. IMO it is concerning that at 8 weeks old that your vet has diagnosed her with LP. Did he say what GRADE LP she has? I am guessing that the 8 lbs is probably a pretty accurate weight for her little one.
