She will come around with lots of patience and love.

My rescue savannah I've had her 3 weeks now.

She was terrified at first and is now used to our home and being free in it.

door knocks she's off like a bolt of lightening barking like a madwoman now instead of shaking.

yesterday was my birthday and my kids stopped by when my daughter came in she ran barking and when she said hi sugar (her pet name for her) she jumped right into her arms when she bent down.

It took almost the whole 3 weeks to teach her about outside and walking on a leash something she's never done.

She was so afraid I used a doggie stroller to make her see outside could be fun.

I can now feed her with others in the kitchen and she won't spook and insist I pick her up so she can hide her face and feel secure.

They will notice little signs of progress daily and she will get used to their daily routines.

I didn't stop doing what I normally do since I love to cook she was afraid of that and would watch me from afar.

now she's a foot from me except when I empty the dishwasher that she still thinks eats people.

She did amazing with central vac and the floor steamer is still an evil invader that she can live without.

She's used to the the swiffer I use for fast cleanups.

she also is no longer afraid of the little bathroom and if I don't let her in she'll howl to the moon until that happens.

so they do make strides forward and sometimes carry some old baggage but you get used to what their issues are.

she will do fine I can't wait to see posts of her progress
