When I went back to pick up her bowl and get her for her morning meds I found little streaks of poop and bright red blood. I picked her up and she was trying to pass more stool. I took her in the bathroom to help her finish and to wash her little tush and it was so red and irritated. I called my vet and took her in worrying that she might have an anal gland problem...or even a bit of a tear somewhere. On exam, my vet found Gabby to have quite a bit of tone in her rectum....just wonderful news!! She is just irritated and is to have animax applied 3 times/day. Today was the first time she has passed urine on her own...even though it was not continent....and now she has tone in her rectum. Sooooo...she is getting feelings and use back!!! I am SO excited! First time I have ever wanted a pup to pee and poop all over me.

She also had an appointment with the opthamologist....her eye has a bit more pressure in it. He still feels that it will "destruct" on its own. He added a new eye drop to try and get the pressure down. She now does not go back again for three weeks.
Linda,

When I first began to read your post, I literally stopped breathing.

As I read further, I let out my breath and thanked God!!!

You have truly brought this little one along to good health.
