I know exactly what you mean!! I just watched the trash man drive away with ours just a few minutes ago!!
One other thing that we recently learned and changed up on: DRINKING WATER!!
We have really hard water here in Las Vegas and the lime build up is amazing! If you give them tap water - it will form kidney stones which can be fatal as we learned from Junior's breeder. Our YorkiePoos now drink DISTILLED WATER like my wife uses in our Keurig Coffee Machine and we no longer get that build up in the coffee machine like in our old coffee pot and hopefully not in our YorkiePoos now, either!!
