I also think some people time teacup and toy are one in the same. I have 3.5/4 lbs girl and people ask me if she is a teacup.. they have heard the "hype" of breeders who are taking advantage of the how little pups tug at our hearts and get confused. Agreed! I've been asked 2 different questions with my 7lb boy. My boyfriend asked if he was a teacup yorkie

and others have asked if he was a mix. Those that think he's a mix can't fathom the thought that he's purebred since he's so large.

Last I checked, a 20 lb yorkie was still a yorkie, just more to love.

What's the big deal on weight anyway? I've seen a more petite yorkie that weighed 8-9 lbs, and my boy is taller and weighs less?
