I also think some people time teacup and toy are one in the same. I have 3.5/4 lbs girl and people ask me if she is a teacup.. they have heard the "hype" of breeders who are taking advantage of the how little pups tug at our hearts and get confused. Thank goodness we all are different and love different dogs.. one size does not fit all
