You are getting a lot of good advice here. I also agree that he left his mom too soon, and now you have to be his mom. As others have said, keep him warm and safe and get to the vet for anything that you don't understand. Ask the vet if maybe he/she can put together a kit for you to help take care of the little guy.

Ruger is the first dog I've ever had, and we got him from a breeder. Soon you'll have less and less questions as a new dog owner. Meanwhile, it sounds like you are doing everything right.
